Welcome Nellie

It is a pleasure to welcome Nellie Andersson Lans to UHT. Nellie is working as Project Engineer and is a valuable team member to our project department contributing to projects across all business areas.

Nellie Andersson Lans began her journey at UHT almost a year ago in the After Sales Department but now she has a new role as Project Engineer where she supports the UHT project team with project planning, follow-up and updates. She is already involved with projects in all UHT’s business areas, which aligns perfectly with her a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Gävle. Nellie also brings valuable experience from heavy industries, having worked at Billerud during her summer breaks, and completing her bachelor thesis at Alleima, focusing on internal logistics.

– Part of my job here at UHT involves managing transmittals on customers’ online platforms to track all drawings and revisions delivered in the engineering phase of each project. I also coordinate and participate in customer meetings to ensure that we deliver according to our discussions and decisions. It is fascinating to experience the difference between equipment-related GRANSHOT® and converter projects, which are rather straightforward and concrete, and UTCAS™ software implementation projects which are more agile in their nature.

One thing that truly defines Nellie is her eagerness to learn new things like tackling technological challenges in the ongoing projects.

– Personal development is important to me, and I feel that I can grow here at UHT. It’s exciting to push things forward in the different projects and see tangible results.

Nellie is also a very creative person, she likes to paint, sing and dance and music in general has always played a big part in her life:

– I believe I inherited my creative side from my dad. He is a musician, and I grew up surrounded by a lot of music, spending long summer nights with people playing guitar and singing together, something that I cherish very much.
