Welcome Arisa!
We are very happy to welcome Arisa Nakajima to the UHT team! Arisa is currently working with updating drawings, streamlining our business software processes, and some administrational tasks. With her skill set in various disciplines, she is a great resource to our team.
Arisa is born in Japan and grew up in Chiba outside of Tokyo. She started her career at as a Microsoft Office specialist working for a consultancy firm in Japan but moved to Sweden 12 years ago when she met her Swedish partner. After a few years in Sweden, she decided to make a career change and studied CAD at Higher Vocational Education in Stockholm.
As already mentioned, Arisa will combine CAD drawing with more administrational work and development of the business software processes.
– I enjoy CAD drawing and design because I like how detailed and precise the work is, but I have also taken a real interest in how the business software is set up and the development of new processes, Arisa says.
As a mother of two, a seven-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, Arisa has her hands full at home. But whenever she gets a chance, she enjoys reading both classic and contemporary Japanese literature. She describes herself as someone who enjoys the indoors and she especially likes going to art museums and the cinema. Learning Swedish has also been an important goal since Arisa moved here. Arisa explains that although Swedes are known to speak good English, everyday life is easier once you have learned the language.
– Working at UHT is my first experience with a Swedish company and I have so far really enjoyed myself. Everyone has been nice to me, and the atmosphere is very informal. I am also happy to see familiar faces every day rather than working in a big corporation.
